In fact, their are 2 specific entities that try to keep this information from you - but we’ll talk about them in a second because first I want to tell you what the secret actually is 🙏

It’s called career capital.

This is a real term coined by author and computer scientist “Cal Newport” in his book “So Good They Can’t Ignore You.”

I didn’t know that at the time, I only read the book last year.

But upon reflection, this is 100% what gave me an unfair advantage.

The whole idea is that you make progress in ANY THING by getting RIDICULOUSLY GOOD at some aspect(s) of it and leveraging that for upward mobility.

That’s EXACTLY what I did.

I uncovered the most important attributes for independent music producers and farmed them up to level 100 👾.

That’s why I’ve never sent a single cold DM to any artist yet I am platinum selling in a country I don’t live in and have hundreds of millions of streams accounted for.

That’s what’s possible with career capital.

It applies to everything from doctors to gamers.

In music production, it’s so simple (on paper).

Get good at making beats, then use the skill to open doors.

Duh.

But what skills do you need to get good at? And in what order?

What doors lead to treasures, and which ones are traps?

And how do you turn “being good at beats” into a skill that can be leveraged for things like money and attention? Because what does it really matter if you’re good but no one’s around to hear you?

Well… “they” are hoping I don’t tell you this, but that’s exactly what I teach in my mentorship group DOPE.

It’s where I work one-on-one with producers who;

Their WORST NIGHTMARE is a generation of record producers who figured out how to leverage career capital.

Just one generation of that is enough to destroy record labels permanently.

Now… do I think that’s gonna happen? I’m not sure 🤷‍♂️.

But… that’s how powerful career capital is.
