Did you know stereo imaging isn't real?
I talked about it a bit in this video, but basically it's a figment of our imagination.
So - the more active your imagination, the better you are at seeing stereo.
And since overthinkers have incredibly active imaginations, we can use this to our benefit!! (We just need to know how)
I'm working on a video for this week (Sunday, 11/3), but for now here's a helpful way to think of it 👇
- Panning (pan pots) is left and right.
- Volume is front and back.
- EQ (frequency) is up and down.
This creates a 3D space, the "stereo image."
Again - how well you see this depends on your imagination.
And How well you navigate it depends on the kind of map you're given.
I hope to start you on the right direction this weekend 🤝.
Btw - thanks for your response to my question yesterday.
I'm finishing up something huge to show you how to easily mix and master like a professional without wasting decades of trial and error.
So please reply to this message or the one from yesterday and let me know the NUMBER ONE question you have about how to mix your beats so they sound better to anyone on any system 🙏
Blessings,
Chu
